Member Group Activites

With FUN activities for all age groups, Wilderness Village Resort is the perfect place for the entire family.

Seasonal group activities include Fun Shack (youth recreation program), farmer's markets, barbeques, sports activities, pub nights, bingo, community events, Sunday pancake breakfasts, crafts and markets. The FUN continues with our two large heated pools, hot tubs, a scenic golf course only minutes away, and several nearby fishing and boating lakes. This means you're in for a fun-filled vacation, you can't get anywhere else in Alberta!

Wilderness Village Resort is debt free and 100% member owned. Not many other RV resorts can say the same.

The term of membership is a true lifetime for the shareholding member, providing they remain in good standing with the park, or until such time as they wish to transfer* ownership. After transfer* a residual, declining twenty year membership (with share) would remain, which is also transferable until the date of expiry.
*Transfer fees apply.

Long weekends are reserved for members only.
Optional Services

Optional services such as RV towing, RV septic services and winter site snow plowing are available at a reasonable cost. Services are discounted for Shareholding members. Cabin rentals are discounted to shareholding members and their guests (Only during non-peak times, Oct 15-May 14).

 Maintenance
Maintenance Dues

Yearly maintenance dues ($1575 + GST) includes campsite fees, year-round RV storage, youth recreational activities, firewood and showers. In addition, members may use the resort up to 180 days per year without additional charges. Members are always guaranteed to have an RV site when they arrive. Members may access the park year round.

 Vote
Shareholders Vote

Shareholding members have voting privileges and may attend the Annual General Meeting. They may also stand as a nominee to the board of directors, vote on yearly budgets and participate in shaping the direction of the park. Each shareholder has collective ownership of the park.

Membership Types

Full Membership & Season Pass Membership


Wilderness Village offers two types of membership term access to its facilities; Full Shareholding (long-term) membership or a Seasons Pass (short-term) membership. A common misconception is that having a membership will provide a permanent, static campsite, but that is not the case at our Resort. Since we have almost 800 members and just over 400 campsites that is not possible. As a member you are always guaranteed a place if you wish to camp- but we do not pre-reserve specific campsites. If you come out to camp for a weekend, then your trailer must be returned to the storage compound at the end of your stay. You must occupy your RV, for all nights of your stay and while your RV is on a campsite. If you prefer to tow your own RV, no problem, but if you’d like us to move your RV for you, there is a fee for the service.

Full Membership


Provides a lifetime of term with a shareholding status which means you have a say in the important decisions made for our not-for-profit Resort. For example, a shareholder may attend and participate at an Annual General Meeting to vote on capital expenditures and Board of Director elections. Shareholders may run for the Board, which is a voluntary position. There are many privileges associated with a membership including having a guaranteed site especially on long weekends, complimentary year-round storage of your primary RV unit and an opportunity to be able to camp at any time of the year with no nightly camping fees (to a maximum 180 nights per year) as we are open year round. This type of membership has a fully transferable 20 year term attached for you to sell or transfer when you are ready to retire from the Resort.  Annual maintenance dues apply to all shareholding memberships.  Financing may be available through the Rocky Credit Union. 

The current cost is $29,250.00 plus GST, paid in full at time of purchase. We do not provide financing options. 


2024 memberships become available on January 2, 2024 at 8:00 am.

Seasons Pass Membership


Provides a single season, short-term type of Membership from May 2 to October 1, with many of the privileges of a full membership, including primary RV storage during the term, no nightly camping fees, and a guaranteed spot especially on long weekends. *Maintenance dues and AGM voting rights do not apply to Season Passes.

The current cost is $5,500.00 plus GST. 


2024 memberships become available on January 2, 2024 at 8:00 am. Limited Passes available.

Member Stay Message

Members (Full Shareholding or Seasons Pass holders) of Wilderness Village have electronic gate cards to access the Resort at any time. Arrangements do have to be made in advance in order for optional services to be performed such as towing, septic pumping and site plowing in the winter months. Members must book these services by 4:00 PM the day prior they are required.

Coast to Coast

Wilderness Village also enjoys the distinction of being a Five Star Coast to Coast Resort member.  This affiliation offers access to a network of hundreds of other fine RV campgrounds and resorts, who agree to offer each other reciprocal visitation privileges. Membership in Coast to Coast is a privilege and in order to remain in good standing, the member resorts are regularly inspected to ensure that they meet Coast to Coast Resorts' high standards. Our members have access to all the resorts and campgrounds in the Coast to Coast system for an extra cost, except for those that fall within a 125 mile radius of Wilderness Village.
